Recently I worked with a small group of children on an outdoor artistic adventure. We spent a sunny morning walking in the countryside. On our walk we spent time looking at the foliage, collecting interesting seed pods and leaves. The children were encouraged to slow down, listen and look at their surroundings.
On our return we gathered all of the natural objects and arranged them on the light sensitive paper. After a short time in the sun the prints were developed. We had some great results including some impressive prints made with fox skulls and foliage that they had gathered along the way. It was a great day of creativity and appreciation of nature.
